Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Center for Translational Medicine
The Molecular Biology Laboratory of the Center for Translational Medicine is a state-of-the-art research
facility
designed to support comprehensive analyses in molecular biology, genetics, and cell biology
The
laboratory is dedicated to conducting scientific and translational projects
where precise analysis of
biological material at the DNA, RNA,
and protein levels is of key importance.
The scope of the Laboratory’s capabilities includes a wide range of studies — from the isolation and
assessment of the quality and quantity of genetic material, through gene expression analysis, to precise
protein quantification
and cell phenotyping. This enables both the identification of molecular changes in
response to
various factors and the evaluation of outcomes in experimental therapies.
The Laboratory routinely performs gene expression analysis using real-time PCR and
and qPCR techniques,
assesses the quality and quantity of DNA and RNA in biological samples, and conducts
protein expression
analysis via immunochemical methods such as ELISA and Western-blot.

It also offers advanced cytometric analysis, allowing
It also offers advanced cytometric analysis, allowing multiparametric characterization of cells and
subpopulations. These analyses include
cell cycle evaluation, detection of specific markers, and analysis of
intracellular
and surface proteins.
Thanks to its advanced equipment and highly qualified staff, the Molecular Biology Laboratory
provides an
excellent environment for scientific research, the development of new diagnostic methods,
and the support
of translational medicine projects.
